Hello August WLS family!!--I have a date!

Hello Everyone I got my surgery date today: August 17th!! I cannot express how excited I am! But...I am also a little nervous. I'm sure it's normal to feel this way. Just wanted to say hello & once again...Congrats to all the August 2004 WLS patients! We're on our way! -Nikki

Let me be the first to welcome you to the August 2004 Loser's Team Bench. My surgery is August 16, so I'm just ahead of you. I think all of us are a little nervous and very excited. I'm still a little skeptical too, waiting for the other shoe to drop to tell me I can't have the surgery. I'll just be glad when the pulmonologist signs off that little piece of paper.
