Pacific Bariatric

Hello Everyone, I have a question for any Pacific Bariatric patients....I was just wondering what the class is that you have to attend the day before your surgery ?? Thanks Michele open RNY 8-26-04

Hiyah Michelle I too will be at Pacific Bariatrics on 8-17 and was wondering about this. But never thought of asking the questions. I come to the August board around one a week and notice there are not any responses. Maybe if it was posted on the California board there would be a better response. Hi Michele! I am new to this August board, being I just got my August 24th date. Dr. Rumsey at Pacific Bariatric's is who will be doing my surgery. I too was wondering about the class and asked Melissa who called and gave me my date. She said it was a time to go over paper work, Final weigh in, also to get meassured and before pictures as well. Might be a bit more to it but thats the sum. Hope I was able to help! Chatty

Hi Chatty Tina Thanks for the info...Since I posted that message I have had three friends go in for their surgeries and they all told me about pre-op day - they all ended with "it was really boring" however the milk of mag keeps you busy if you know what I mean. Oh and they also fit you with your abdominal binder... Anyway, the "3 friends" all had Dr Rumsey and loved him you are in good hands...but you already know that... Maybe we will run into each other while on the 7th floor...good luck to you on your WLS Its just around the corner Michele
