I need help in finding protein drinks that are low in carbs. I have tried Carb Solutions and they are okay. I feel I need some variety so I do not get burned out on one kind. What are some other good ones? Thanks Cathy

First off - thank you for the delightful note you sent to me. It uplifted my spirits. I go to a gym and one of them recommended that i drink Designer Whey. It has 17.5g of protein per scoop. and only 2g of carbs. It is also low fat with 1.5g. They have other flavors, but I like the Chocolate the best. I got it at the local health food store, but i don't remember what it cost. Good luck with your search!! Barbara Conaway

Almost all protein drinks make me gag, but I LOVE Unjury. It has 20g of protein per scoop and I think 3 grams of carbs. The have chocolate (tastes just like chocolate milk when added to 8oz of skim milk!!!) and vanilla (very sweet, but good). They also have an unflavored that has 0 carbs and you can add it to soups and puddings and stuff. Here is their site: www.unjury.com You can also get SF flavor syrups to change the taste a little. I use Davinci or something like that. I'll post the site when I find them. *~Amber~*

Hi, I have tried several kind/brands. The one I seem to like best is, Isopure whey. I ordered the sample box just to taste different flavors. I have found the brand in health food store, however sites on the web is much cheaper. It has 50grs of protein, which is more than our body can absorb, but it fills me and lasts longer than others I tried. To find web sites, just type Isopure in search. Look through them and find one that is cheapest. The types that cost more are a waste, they taste the same and some have way too much sugar. Good luck on your search. Marla

I used to drink EAS Carb Control Shakes. I liked the chocolate and use to put it in the blender with fresh fruit and ice. I liked them a lot. I don't remember how much protein each one has, but they're available with 1 or 2 carbs. You have to look though because they also make some that are higher in carbs. I got mine at Wal-Mart.
