Date of Surgery: 8/17/04 - YEA

Hi - I am new to this. Wanted to share that my surgery date is 8/17/04. I am very excited and very nervous. I have a 7 year old daughter and am a single mom. I need to be here a long, long time to raise her - she needs me. I have leardned a lot from reading on this site and am looking forward to learning more.

woo-hoo for u too! I also have my surgery date, its set for august 18th I live in north east PA and Dr peters is doing my DS surgery..I cant wait but the reality is setting in now and im getting so very nervous. I know this is the best thing for me. I have so much living I want to do instead of exsisting like so many of us have had to do.Like the song says "Its my turn" Good luck to you all!!!
