I have been approved !!!!!!!!

Well after reading everything I can get my hands on about lap band and all the problems other people go through to get their WLS approved, I feel pretty dang lucky. My request was faxed to United Healthcare on 06/07/04 and I was approved yesterday (06/24/04) My surgery is scheduled for Aug 2 and I am so excited I do not know what to do. Of course like most, I have some mixed emotions, but I am ready to start the journey of the rest of my life. I want to finally lose this weight and look and feel good forever. I have a lot of support from my friends and family. I also keep in contact with the folks at bandlandia.com here in Dallas. They are an awesome support group for the band. I see myself becoming a part of their family really quickly. I will try my best to be at alot of their support group meetings....Lord knows, I am going to need it. Well I could write a book here but I will update ya'll later. I would love to talk to some folks in Dallas / Ft Worth area about lap band. God Bless everyone ! Thanks
