I Got My Approval!!!

My surgery date is set for August 2. I received my letter from the insurance company today approving the surgery. I'm excited and scared. On Monday I had called the insurance company to check the status but they wouldn't give me the results. They said I had to wait for my letter to get here in the mail. I got sick to my stomach and started thinking the worst but I was happily wrong. It was approved in only a weeks time. Anyone have any suggestions or info they would like to share?

Congrats! I had called the insurance on a Friday -- they told me to give it more time. It was my 2nd time calling to "check" on it. I had the letter Tuesday of the following week!!! Why they couldnt tell me over the phone, I didnt know!!! lol ... anyway, I wish you the best!

Just happy for you, Mine is August 4th. I am so excited. A bit nervous. I have confidence in my dr. I just want to make sure I get it right, But MY DR TAKES HIS JOB SEROISLY so I know he will keep me in the right direction. Good Luck, Mary

Hey Jennifer, Thanks for the support. This is a very good site. People share right down to cleaning before surgery.I thought I was the only one having cleaning concerns. I want to get the house in order before surgery. My two kids that remain at home will have an interesting time with chores. A friend of mine wants me to watch her kids starting in Sept. I told her I can no****ch the little one because I will not be able to bend ect for awhile. The older child I can get him off to school because he is self sufficient..old enough to do things I wont be able to do. jULY 6TH WILL BE A BUSY DAY FOR ME..BUT A HAPPY ONE BECAUSE IT STARTS THE REALITY OF THE SURGERY...WITH ALL THE SIDE APPTS.
