Congrats to all those who are scheduled for August! I am scheduled for August 4th!!! Exactly 7 weeks and 8 days after my 1st consult with my surgeon. (June 3rd) I've already had some stuff done, My PCP has cleared me for surgery, I just have a patient seminar on June 24 that is 3 hrs. And then my "monster" day is July 7th. I have an Ultrasound, Chest X Ray, Blood work and both consults, Dietician and psych all in one day. It should all be done by 2pm though. I REALLY like my surgeon's approach to all of this. They start you off with a surgery date, and then schedule all your stuff between then and the surgery. It keeps people from missing appointments when they know that one missed appt and their surgery date gets moved back! Good Idea! I can't wait for August 4th! 50 Days to go!!!! Leland

i FEEL THAT WAY ALSO, MY DATE IS AUG. 17TH. IT LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF YOU IN OTHER STATES GET YOUR DATE FIRST AND THEN DO ALL YOUR TEST. IN CALIF. MOST HAVE TO DO ALL THE TEST THEN THE INSURANCE APPROVAL AND YOU GET A SURGERY DATE. RAOULENE

I'm very happy for you Rachel!It is so exciting.I'm having the surgery on August 12,4 days before my 48Th birthday and I can't wait. My sister had this surgery last May and she looks wonderful and never felt better!Well my prayers are with you and good luck Joy
