GASTROLOGIST APPT: WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENS?

My appt. with the gastrologist is tomorrow and I was just wandering what the procedure consists of from anyone who has already finished this appt. Thanks Jacque

They didn't mention me seeing a gastrologist. What happened at your appt? Maybe thats going to be done on the day of my pre-ops. Patty

Well some surgeons have a different pre-op plan. I just discussed my EGD appt. That is where they go down through the throat with a camera and check for polyps, ulcers etc. that might need to be fixed prior to surgery!!! Jacque
