Hola all! Another August surgery here (the 6th). Woo hoo! Of course, like most of you, I'd LOVE to have an earlier surgery date. However, I guess this has given me more time to develop better habits before surgery that is going to be part of my post-op life.. Anyhoo, enough rambling. I was curious if anyone had some check-lists, such as what to bring to the hospital, etc.... Thanks.

Congrats on your August date Addie. My sister had hers in March and found she brought too much to the hospital. She told me to bring one nightie to change in after you are able to get up and lip balm seems to be the major thing, perhaps a few other personal items like toothpaste. Dont forget the slippers and a housecoat, those hospital gowns bear a little too much from behind. It certainly doesnt seem too far away now that you have me thinking about what I will need to bring to the hospital. Wow can you believe it in two months we will be losers. Good Luck Patty

Addie, I have heard we need lip balm and lots of it. Slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush or comb, deoderant, and a robe if your hospital doesn't have the larger size gowns. I have heard we will be either sleeping or walking and that anything else really doesn't get used. Congrats on your Aug. 6th date. Christie Aug. 16th
