August 12th can't come soon enough!

Today I found out my surgery is on August the 12th. Yeah!!! On one hand I am really excited but on the other hand I am a little disappointed that I couldn't have it done sooner....like tomorrow!! Congrats to all of you who are joining me in the "August Losers Club". Joan

I know what you mean. I feel the same way, but it really will get here before we know it. Heck, I can't believe that it is the middle of May. Seems like my kids JUST started this school year. Hang in there. Tiffany

Mine is the 18th! I felt the same way but I look at it this way. You have the entire summer to enjoy some of your favorite foods and just in general enjoy the summer. If it were in July or June part of that time you would be in the hospital and spending so much time getting used to your new body the beautiful summer would just pass you by! Always think positive!!!!!

I think the feeling is mutual for all of us. I wish I could be having the surgery sooner too. My surgery is Aug. 3. I have started marking the days off of th calendar and I can not believe 9 days have already passed since 05/13 when I got the news. I gives us more time to get everything in order but I am anxious too. Congrats on your surgery date!
