Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!

Hello everyone, I finally have some pictures. The picture at 340 Lbs. was the last picture I have taken alone. I know I told some members I would make it a Summer project and buy a camera. I couldn't do it. The 2 pictures with my kids were taken by a family member. I continue having a hard time taking a picture. My Winter project is to take a picture of myself alone. I feel nervous seeing my face on my replys. Well, thanks for listening to me and I hope they look OK. Take care.

Oh, I am so happy to see your face in the "block," as I've come to think of it. You really are very handsome, so I hope you are starting to see yourself in the same way that we do. Naturally, we didn't know you before your surgery, so we've only known you as being skinny! Isn't that funny? I continue to be amazed at how small my clothes are when I am folding laundry. Several times I have almost placed things in with the kids' laundry....just because I'm shrinking as they are growing. My daughter and I wear some of the same t-shirts now! Well.....I am so happy to finally see your face looking back at all of us August folks! When you feel like it, get your beautiful children to snap some new photos of you (by yourself). I think you'll be very surprised at how slim and handsome you really are. I know how happy your kids are that you have come so far. OK! I just remembered who you remind me of, Louis! You remind me of a younger version of actor Edward James Olmos. Ladies, do you agree with me? He's so handsome! I remember when he played Lt. Castillo on Miami Vice in the 1980's. ~Laura

Laura, I can't stop lauphing every time I think of who you said I looked like. Don't get me wrong, I always watched the TV show Miami Vice. I loved the way Edward James Olmos came out. He was always so cool. It is funny because I have never ever heard that in my life. I still like the comparrison and the compliments. To return the compliment, you look like an intelligent, beautiful, suffisticated woman in the box picture. Plus a great smile. I am going to work in trying to see myself different. Louis, You look very handsome in your picture but I do understand your issue with looking at your self in a picture. You are right the only way you will get over it is to conquer your fear and belive me once you start taking pictures and putting them where you can see them every day then you will one day say WOW look at me ! Patty, I apologize for sounding like a jerk. I have to say on my defense that it has been difficult It might sound crazy but it is the honest truth.
