How was your holiday?

OMG it was the best holiday i've ever had! I had one drink (sf kool aid and bacardi) and i was plastered. I met some new neighbors and had my kids enjoying it, and a few friends over with their kids, lots of yummy food (healthy too), fireworks were awesome, it couldn't have been any better. I missed a bunch of friends who no longer talk to me due to my wls.....of course, jealousy. And then again, i have a lot of new friends who are a lot of fun to be around. Have any of you noticed how ppl approach you now? I have lived in this house almost four years. My neighbors on the corner across from me have never spoke to me or let my kids play with theirs.....i always thought they kept to themselves. Well a month ago i ran into her at the store, and she acted like my best friend and now ask my kids over every day. Do you think it is discrimination, or is it that ppl were afraid to approach me? It's just weird to me. Have any of you used 3 D glasses to watch fireworks? It was awesome. I hope everyone is doing well. Hugs Linda

Linda, you had a blast and was plastered. We are all happy you had a great time. It sad how some old friends could be jealous of your new look. We are jealous we couldn't be there with you. All that food, fireworks, friends, and drinks, makes a great holiday. Was the fireworks awesome because of the 3-D glasses alone or because of the glasses with the barcardi? Just kidding, so happy you had a great time.

LMAO you are so funny. I am so retarted when i drink, so i wait til everyone else is drunk before i start.....they always try to get me to start sooner, but i won't. They think i'm the life of the party. So anyway, i seen most of the fireworks before i was plastered. Did you get my emails about how to put your pics on here? Hugs Linda

Linda, can you tell me what is LMAO? I have retired from drinking. I can only drink 1 or 2 drinks max. Either I get wasted very very soon with 1 drink or since our stomach is so small I get full so quick. A couple of months of go I went to a wedding. I wanted to try drinking as much as I could handle without making a full of myself. Well I got full before I made a full of myself. I did get your e-mail about the pictures. Maybe you could have told your hubby to take a picture of you when you were plastered. Then put it on the message board. The message would say Plastered Pictures. Just a joke. Linda, Sounds like you had a wonderful time on your vacation. Glad you're home safe and sound now. 3-D glasses for fireworks? No, I've never heard of that...but it does sound interesting. We caught the fireworks display in our neighborhood---a very nice one. Our city has 4 or 5 in the tri-county area. But, since half of us were running a fever, we stayed near home. Next year....I'll be getting some 3-D glasses for sure! (Maybe some Bacardi too?) Happy Summertime! ~Laura
