I take sublingual b12 ...2 of them..probably 2-3 times a week. The great thing about b12 is that it's water soluable..meaning what your body doesnt use, you pee out. So you can't take too much. Our surgery dates are the same...and my 6mo bw came back right on the money. You could try this, or try getting the b12 injections..maybe you could absorb better this way?? How are you taking the b12 now?

Rika, when you hit that 199 it feels great! I recently just went through the same thing. My fiance is about 6"1 and weighs 230 lbs. I am only 5"3 and I used to weigh 266 lbs! It was awful because everyone would say, "oh he's a big guy." So what did that make me? Now I'm 189 and I LOVE the fact that I am the smaller one and I feel more normal. I was elated when I hit 199. Now I can't wait to be 150 or get to 100 lbs. lost. I've lost 77 so far. Not the best, bt I'll take it.

Had DS surgery 8/15. Started around 293, currently weighing 202. I want to get below 200 badly! However, I now have the same weight as my fiance! I warned him that as soon as I am below 200, I will start calling him "fatso". Ok, so I was just kidding, but in my past life, I've always been the biggest one around. I am so happy! All of you ladies who met me at the hospital, you remember my fiance (We got engaged in the hospital!)? He is almost heavier than I am!
My son (12) found a picture of me "before", 2 years ago. He brought it to where I was sitting and said: "Look, Mom!" He pointed to the picture and said: "Cow!", then he pointed to me and said: "Gorgeous young lady!" He did that about five times, going back between my picture and me. Ok, so 12 year olds are not epitomes of tact, but it showed me clearly that he was very aware of my changes.
Went shopping at winter clearance time. No more big girl stores for me, I fit in regular store clothes. Loved. Got great bargains, too. Combined them with this new spring line jacket at full price, HAHAHAHA.

Yep those cravings stink.... My big hang up right now is crackers can't stay away from them at all...
I working on getting my weight loss to pick back up.
Witch I have been slow pretty much every since my 1st months was over.
But I am so happy about what I have lost and looking for dropping the rest.. It drives me nutty..

Hi everyone,
I am almost 6 months out and would like to have lost 80 lbs. by my anniversary which is the 26th. I only have three pounds to go until then. But the thing is, I've been so hungry lately. I've been eating chips, chocolate, crackers, cheeses, you name it! I almost wish I would get really sick off of these so I wouldn't eat them. I know that it's all about control, but lately I have been craving, craving, craving and giving in. Luckily my weight loss has not stopped. I still lose at least 2 lbs./week but I know this is going to catch up to me. Give me some advice, I know this happens at this stage in the game.

WELL ITS BEEN A LONG YIME SINCE I HAVE POSTED. BEEN REALLY BUSY. WORKING NOW. ALL TOGETHER I HAVE LOST 120 POUNDS SINCE AUGUST 27 2003. I FEEL GREAT. I STILL HAVE A LONG WAYS TO GO BUT OFF TO A GREAT START. THE WEIGHT LOSE HAS SLOWED DOWN A BIT BUT ITS STILL COMING OFF. HAIR LOSE ALSO HAS SLOWED DOWN. THANK GOD! I WAS FREAKING OUT ABOUT LOSING MY HAIR. IF ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET SOME SAMPLES OF LETTERS TO PLASTIC SURGERY PLEASE EMAIL ME. I WANT TO START RESEARCHING ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY. You are doing great! Keep up the awesome job!!! I just had my 6 month check up today. I am down 101 lbs. I am eating alot of chicken and tuna. Drinking alot of milk with sugar free chocolate in it!! Try IT!
