Hello Debbie.. Congrats on the -98lbs!!! You are doing great. I had surgery 8-1-03 and I am down to 178lbs from a starting weight of 289. I agree that sometimes i feel that i can eat too much, then other times a couple bits and i am full. I have read and was told by my surgeon that 1 cup at a sitting is not unusual. It depends on what you are eating. Remember once you chew it up nice and tiny, it takes up less space. Sometimes i wish for the 1/4 cup days. I agree that this is so confusing at time. I cant wait to see what other people post. Ohh as a reference, i can eat a subway wrap. I dont always eat all the wrap, but i am able to eat the insides. I normally order roastbeef, swisss, lettuce, etc. I am finding that most foods work now as long as I chew them well. Anybody else finding that also? Good question Debbie, Thanks! Lori

I am 7 months out and losing my hair BIG time. I had blonde hair and recently colored it auburn. I have had a lot of compliments. The darker color has actually made my hair look thicker. It would probably be best to consult your hair dresser but I just wanted to give you my 2 cents worth.

Even when my hair was falling out the most around 4 months, I got my color and highlights done. Then again, I have a lot of hair and it's pretty healthy. If your hair is thin, I would wait. Ask your hairdresser, she knows your hair best.

Hiya All, I am 7 months out and I am losing a little hair, nothing major. I want to get a new look, like highlight and cut my hair. Does anyone know if the bleach will affect my hair in anyway or should I wait to try something like highlighting? Take care, Geraldine

I cant believe Thursday it will be 7 months. Seems like just yesterday that I was in the hospital. I have lost 108 pounds and I have 45 more to go. These will be the hardest pounds to get off, but I am determined to do it. I feel so much better about myself. I am down from 3X to a 16/18 and I LOVE shopping now. Does anyone know how often you are supposed to go to the gym? I go about 4-5 times a week, not sure if thats too much or too little? Take care, Keep in touch Geraldine

Georgine, I have been taking Biotin 2500 from GNC and I have seen a lot of new hair growth. It took about 3 weeks for me to start seeing the hair grow back. The good thing is that GNC has a 30-day money back policy. But I take it and so does a friend of mine and it has helped both of us. Best of luck.

I notice if I eat in the morning, I want to eat all day. What I do now is drink a lot of water in the morning and I don't really eat anything untill 11:00 or 12:00. Don't ask me why but it seems to work. With the hair lose, I have bben taking Biotin 2500 from GNC and it is helping. I have tons of new hair growth. Great job to all of you
