Hey Gang, I am 10 months out and down 124 lbs with 29 more to go, but havent lost anything in about a month. Does anyone have a diet they use that I can follow for a week to see if it boost my metabolism? I am pleased with my weightloss, just gets discouraging when the scale never budges LOL Any advise is welcome Take care all and god bless Gerri (308/184/155)

Can you share more about the thigh lift? I am going in on August 3rd for tummy tuck and breast lift. I need to get my thighs and arms done. The Dr says wait 6 months and he will do the other two procedures. I am sure my insurance will cover the tummy, but i dont know about the breast lift. I will pay on my own. What did your legs look like before and what about now? Do you have any post-op pics you can share? Ohh my current weight is 161 and i am 5'4", so i am about 16-27lbs from ideal body weight, depending on what you consider ideal. Most likly 10 - 15lbs is excess skin. Thanks for your sharing. Lori

Topic: RE: Losing too much weight.
I had the same problem... I felt I was loosing too much weight and I started to eat at meal time a little more (to purposely stretch my pouch). I can eat two taco bell crunchy tacos now instead of one. I have been able to maintain my weight now... not loosing or gaining. I am happy with where I am. My doc would like to see me loose about 14 more pounds, so I need to exercise a little more - I have lots of loose skin that if I lost it, I would be at his goal. Anyway, try to eat a little more at meal time and if that doesn't help, then yes, do toss in a snack mid afternoon and see if that helps... it did for me. take care! Pam

Topic: RE: Dizzy~ Anyone get dizzy when bending over and back up?
I get really bad dizzy spells and almost faint... I went to see my primary care physician and was told I had Vertigo... that is fluid in your ear canal. I take motion sickness pills whenever it bothers me. He told me he may "never" go away, so I just keep the motion pills with me all the time. I have been riding roller coasters with my daughter (can't believe I fit) and it doesn't really seem to get worse or better if I ride them or not, so I just stick with what he says. Good Luck!!

I get dizzy when bending down too. You may want to check your B1 levels, as well as blood pressure, as another poster said. I have yet to have my potassium checked lately, but I think mine is low. The nurse in my doc's office said to eat salty things to retain potassium, so maybe your body is telling you what you need. I think this was a temporary solution to the problem though. Let us know if you find out anything. I'd not like to pass out just by doing housework... Stephanie

Dana, have you blood pressure checked. It may be low and that would be why you are craving salty foods. Just a thought.

I had a terrible problem with dizziness for the first 2 months, but not anymore. I too crave salt at times. Heck I crave things still except sugar...I dumped a couple of times and hated it so much I have no desire to eat it now. I am down 99#. Kind of a slow looser but I feel so much better.
