Thanks Debbie, You're doing awesome too......I think I am building muscle because I take a body pump class twice a week. I really need to increase my fluids too. I never have been a big drinker so its hard for me...Keep me in your prayers and hopefully the weight will start falling off again Take care Gerri

yes I get dizzy sometimes too. My Dr. told me my iron was very low and that I was an Anemic. Here is some info. Iron-Deficiency Anemia Symptoms Mild iron-deficiency anemia may not cause noticeable symptoms. If anemia is severe, symptoms may include: Weakness or fatigue. Shortness of breath during exercise. Headache. Difficulty concentrating. Irritability. Dizziness. Ringing in the ears. Craving substances that are not food (pica). Physical signs of iron-deficiency anemia include: Pale skin. Rapid heartbeat. Brittle fingernails and toenails. Cracked lips. Smooth, sore tongue.

Topic: 10 months for me!!
I hit the 10 month point yesterday. I've lost 106lbs and 48 more to goal.....I'm elated yet frustrated. The weight hasn't been coming off the way I'd hoped....I really hoped I'd get to goal by my anniversary -- don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with the results as they are, but... I keep playing +/- with 3lbs and have been for more than a month. My dietician says I need to eat more -- very hard for me to do!! Any suggestions, folks?? However, I must say that I love the body Im in..I have so much more energy..I feel confident and alive and, for the first time in ages, HAPPY!! Freda 304/cw 198/gw 150

Topic: NYC Plastic Surgeons-Your Experiences Please
Hi, my doc cleared me for plastic surgery, I want to get a boob lift, and maybe a thigh lift. Can you all please post what doctors you have had a good experience with and if they take insurance or not? I started doing research, I have 2 docs in mind right now, David Feldman, Lloyd Hoffman, both are in NY Mag Best Docs list. I have United Healthcare. All feedback will be helpful.

thats so strange I think we all went thru the same plateau. I hit a plateau in May and then in June I just dropped pounds. I am also finding it hard to get all the food in, I know I would lose faster if my body wasnt storing it. I'm a late eater I dont get to breakfast until like 10:30am because I am spoiled and have to have coffee first. Maybe I will invest in some flavorless protein and start sprinkling it in what I do eat.

hi guys, I get really dizzy too, but I thought it was because I am anemic and was slacking on my iron pills. I didnt know you could get dizzy from these other things. Sometimes I see spots too. It's very fustrating to have to figure out what you're missing nutrient wise. I also feel like theres not enough time in the day to get all the vitamin, calcium, iron, b-12 in.

Topic: 10 months out
Well, its been just over 10 months since my 8/20 open rny. I weighed 367 then and 199 now. Still some 30 or pounds to goal. I'm not considering plastics yet, because I want to wait until my weight stabilizes. (However, there must be 10 lbs in loose skin alone, lol) I lose about 3 lbs a month now. My biggest issue is the ease with which "wrong" foods go down. Meat and I, on the other hand, still have somewhat of a love/hate relationship. I love meat, but I can't get much down before I'm uncomfortably full--oh, but could the same be said for soft foods! My strategy is simplistic--eat the meat till I know I'm getting full, then put in those carbs/desserts that I love in the small bit of remaining room. So I get the cheesecake--ok, perhaps only one bite, but I don't feel deprived.
