I am so happy for you! I will be on the table the same day you are. I am so excited and scared at the same time. Dr. Skenderis will be doing my surgery at Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I will keep you in my daily thoughts and prayers.

Good Luck to both of you. My surgery is August 19 (one week later). But it seems so far away!! I feel like it will NEVER get here!!!! :0)

Topic: I GOT MY DATE!!!!!!!!!!

I was at work when Lisa from Dr. Wrights office called me! I had no idea what she was wanting since I was sure that my surgery was denied. See I had been real busy since my appointment with Dr. Wright and I just had to put it on the back burner for a while. Well When Lisa called, I was ready and set to go. I will be having my surgery of fat freedom August 11, 2003 at Vanderbilt University Hospital. I am very excited, I am also nervous... I have let all of my family know. They are nervous but know that this is what I have been wanting. I let my employer know as well.... My boss was in tears because she was so happy for me!

I'll have pre-ops on 8/5 and then my surgery is scheduled for 8/6 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. I'm excited and getting a little nervous as time nears. Praying helps.

Sandra, "BEST WISHES" on your surgery, and also "CONGRATULATIONS" i wish you a quick and speedy recovery. my surgery is also on the 12th of August with Dr. Richards in Nashville. i agree with you that the Insurance approval was quick but waiting for the surgery date was something else, actually it came about (2) weeks later but it seemed longer. anyway we have less than (6) weeks before our "BIG DAY" i don,t know about you but i,m sooooooooooo excited. again "CONGRATULATIONS". I got an approval from my insurance company very quickly. It was the waiting for the surgery date that took so long. Finally August 12th! I hope that the time goes by quickly. Best of luck to everyone.
