I have finally got my date, I and very excited. Tomorrow I go for my pre-op testing. Then only a few more weeks.

Hi there! You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. I go in August 5 and am scared, nervous, excited - all of it. I go from being scared and happy to terrified and excited. I know God is with me and all will be fine - Suzza you are so right - God is Good!!!! Best wishes to you!

My date witht he surgeon is getting close the 5th of August, I'm sure that everything will go fine, my family is a little nervous. my 90 year old mother wants to come and take care of me can you beat that. I'll keep ou posted as to how I do. Can't wait to be a loser.

I received word on Wednesday that I was approved for surgery and that I'm tentatively scheduled for Aug 20. I've never had any type of surgery so that is what frightens me the most. I opened a chinese fortune cookied the other day and it said you are in for really big changes but you'll be happy. What an omen eh? Thanks to my family and friends for supporting my decision and good luck and quick recovery on your surgery.
