My surgery is scheduled for August 7th and I am having pretty much the same feelings as you....such a mixure of intense emotions.

Wed. 9pm CST in the ILLINOIS chat room. If you click 'go local' at the top of this page after you select IL, you'll see the link to the chat room on the left side of the page. Hoping to get lots of us pre-ops and our questions/fears/concerns/hopes all in one room and also hope lots of posties show up to calm those of us who are beginning to freak out!! You don't have to be from Illinois to visit us

Since the regular chat room moves kinda fast, and sometimes the chat is not surgery related

I thought this would be a great place to meet other pre ops and also get our questions answered at the same time

I'm so excited to have my date set. It so close and I feel like I'm not prepared in same ways. I'm pretty nervous about the surgery but look forward to the rewards of a healthier life. Please keep me in your prayers.

Topic: Anxious, frustrated, and everything else!

Well, my surgery was tenatively scheduled for August 5th. I am frustrated because now they are saying it could be August 8th or the 22nd. I have been so looking forward to this. My journey has been only a month long but I have busted my hiney to get things done. The surgery is all I can think about. I don't work so I have alot of time on my hands. I have organized and re-organized about all I can do. How am I ever going to make it?? LOL...anyway, all be in well I will have a definite answer tomorrow. I will write back then. Have a wonderful day and God be with each and every one of you preparing for your journey!! Shanna
