Topic: Have my surgery date August 26th
Can't wait and boy am I glad it's almost here. My new life will change when I wake up after surgery on Tuesday,August 26th.
I have alot of friends that are supporting me. My husband has been doing great so far through all this.
Good Luck to everyone on the list. My wish is for all of us to have a wounderful and speedy recovery.

Would you believe I have the same Surgery Date. August 26 at 9am. I am counting the days. I am a little nervous and anxious at the same time. Can't wait. Have everything I need in the house that was on my list.
Good luck on your surgery. Will be thinking of you when that day comes. I hate wishing my life away, but I am wishing for Aug 26th as my life will first begin with the Lord's help.

Topic: Only 35 more days to go and counting...........
The days are flying by for me at this point. I have only 6 more pounds to go to my target weight for my surgery. It sounds strange to lose weight for a weight lost surgery, but I am trying to follow a routine to one that I need to follow after surgery. I am trying all different types of protien supplements. some are good and some you can keep. My surgeom was happy when I told what I was doing. He informed me it would be easier for him with less weight on me. It will be a total of 30 pounds once I reach my goal weight for surgery.
I have started a water class and met a lady who had the surgery already and she has been a great help. She has encouraged me to go more often to the pool. Take and see everyone around. Thanks..... ((((((HUGHS)))))

Hi Shanna,
This too shall pass! My schedule was tentatively schuled for May 8. There were so many snags along the way. I now am scheduled for Aug. 7. You have to just take one day at a time. It is easier said than done. I know because I am a nervous wreck about it. But this website has been a Godsend.

I have a date for Aug 5, 2003. I am estatic!! Overjoyed!! and Exasperated, as I was approved after the first letter sent within 2 weeks.
Thank you all for your inspiration!!! You have given me the courage to achieve my dream of weightloss surgery.
