Hernia Surgery - Post Op WLS

Hello, I'm 10 months post-op and recently found out that I need to have hernia surgery has anyone had this surgery afterwards that can offer any insight? My doctor has indicated it can be a very painful recovery. Any estimates on how long the recovery is? How much time should I take off from work? Any impact on the weight loss? I'm down 134 lbs with maybe 20 pounds left to go. Unlikely I'll hit it before my surgery, but want to be prepared if there are serious complications involved. Thanks for any info! Solange

I am having the same surgery but for three hernia's on Sept.10, two days after my birthday nice present huh!
