Having surgery September 16th 2003, any words of advise?

Hello my name is Tami and I am going in for surgery on the 16th of September. I am so excited but a little nervous. This will be the first time I have ever been admitted to a hospital. Thank God I have been pretty healthy with the exception of being obese my entire life. I would love to chat with anyone who has advise for me. I am trying to stay strong for my family & friends. Inside I am scared to death. I have read so many of your stories, not only have they gave me the courage to continue but excitement of what my future will hold. Take care and Godbless to all of you. Good luck to you tami. This is the best decision of your life! Just follow the diet and chew chew chew. Drink lots of water and remember to walk, the more you walk the quicker your recovery! God Bless you and good luck!
