My date is coming quickly, August 14th
Hi Casey!
I know this is a scary time for you, but you just have to keep remembering how great you're going to be for your family after you have the surgery and are in the shape to do all those things you've dreamed of doing with them :0) It is so worth it! I just had my surgery this past Monday, 08/04/03 and I'm so glad I did! The pain has been minimal, I haven't had any nausea or vomiting and my energy level is pretty good. Just do everything the doctor tells you and you'll do fine. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,

Hi Casey - I had my surgery 3/12/02 - I did very well and have lost 131lbs - I have gone from a size 28 to 4 - and I am so happy I did this - not for the size, but for my health - I have 4 grandkids 5,3,3 & 2 and now they can sit on my lap!!! I can read them stories and play on the floor with them - I fit on the farris wheel for the first time with two of my granddaughters!! what a thrill - just think of all those things you will be doing with your twins!!! You will be so glad to reclaim your life! It is normal to be scared - but let the fear go by preparing for your new birthday!! Start walking now - eating right and preparing your kitchen for all of the foods, you will need so you don't have to shop - get one of those baby food dishes that you put ho****er in to keep your food hot - it will take you a long time to eat 3 oz - believe it or not - use baby utensils - spoon - fork and small dishes (something you probably have given your twins) - have broth, soups, mashed potatoes became my best friend - and water!!! The good stuff - since we have to drink so much of it - I wanted to make sure I enjoyed it - sipping it don't forget!!! Take care and be happy and nervous - not scared - this will be a wonderful new world for you! You will be in my prayers - take care - let go and let God!! Good luck,
