13 days to go

I have a date of august the 14th at Mercy Scripts in San Diego. . i am excited and scared at the same time. My son says he wants to go with me . he is 27 so i told him he can but i really wanted ot go alone. i am not even sure why. I live 200 miles from the hospital so i need to know what should i take to the hosptial? The doctor said i need to stay in san Diego for one week after the surgery so i am trying to get really perpared but do not want to over do it and take a van with the entire house.
