My new life starts August 7th

Hello to all you wonderful people, I'm so excited, I get my LapBand August 7th in San Francisco. I've been waiting for the right tool for so long. To everyone who shares on this site a Huge THANK YOU!!!!.Making this decision came with a lot of prayer,research and encouragment. Hi Lori, My name is Debbie and my surgery date is Aug. 6th. I'm excited with you!! I wish you best wishes in your days ahead. We are on our way. I have pre-op appointments this week. I think then it will feel like the day is really getting close. I started this journey in November when I got on a waiting list just to see the Dr. My appointments started in April and finished up in May. Then it was waiting on the reply from the insurance company! Finally I was told of my date the second week of July. Are you having to do anything special the week before your surgery?? I'm not, but I've read that some people have had to go on the liquid diet a week or two before. I'm from Denver, NC, not far from Charlotte, NC. Lets keep in touch through this!!
