august 19th is getting closer

hi all just needed to post and get some encouragement. my date is getting closer. go for my last pre op tests aug 14th. im getting so nervous about the surgery but also excited. i guess its just the normal pre surgery jitters. u know what all goes through your mind. i just hope i do so well. is anyone sick alot since their surgery? i mean u arent just like throw up sick alot are u? im really ready and excited. i want this new life and to love life again. im sure ill post again soon. good luck to everyone going before and after me. im gonna say a prayer for all of us as im going into or. thanks rebecca

Hi Becca: My surgery date is also the 19th. My pre-ops will be on August 18th in Dallas, TX. I was all jittery at first but now I'm have so much stress in my life right now I feel very burnt out. I just wanted to give you some encouragement because I know we're doing the right thing and soon, very soon, we will be on the losing side of surgery!!!! I'd like to see who writes you back so I can also find out what some post-ops went thru after surgery. Best wishes for a quick recovery! God Bless all of us! patricia L

Hi Rebecca. I am a Aug. 19th rebirth as well, and to boot my home is Hattiesburg, Mississippi (even though I'm in Louisiana now). I wish you a speedy recovery and a safe surgery. I know the same jitters/excitement/disbelief that I'm doing this feeling that you are having. Hmm, maybe that's just me...lol...oh well. Just keep your God first and everything will work out fine.
