Hi Stephanie, I'm August 4th also (assuming everything goes well at my final pre-op testing on Wednesday)! I'm having my surgery at the Bariatric Treatment Center in Philadelphia PA. Good luck! I hope both of our surgeries are entirely uneventful! God bless! --Deirdre

Hi Stephanie, I'm also have an August 4th surgery date. I live in San Diego and am having my surgery at Alvarado Medical Center by Dr. Clark. Lap RNY. A friend of mine had the surgery this past Tuesday and is doing great. Her only complaint is that it hurts to bend forward (to be expected). But she's not in any pain. I'm very encouraged by her progress and wish you a great surgery and quick recovery. I'll be thinking of you next Monday!! Hugs, Sally
