Have my surgery date August 26th

Can't wait and boy am I glad it's almost here. My new life will change when I wake up after surgery on Tuesday,August 26th. I have alot of friends that are supporting me. My husband has been doing great so far through all this. Good Luck to everyone on the list. My wish is for all of us to have a wounderful and speedy recovery. Myrna

My date is the 26th also! Seems very far away right now. I go for the pre-op and consultation with my surgeon on Monday - so maybe when I get a definite GO at that time, I will feel more like doing the count-down. I'm a little worried about the fact that I didn't follow through with the psych. like they wanted me to do, but guess time will tell. Did you have to lose weight before they would do your surgery? I have to weigh less than I did when I started this whole thing - and that may be close, too. So I'm trying to really watch it until Monday. Just think where we'll be by Christmas!!
