hi brenda, my name is andrea and i saw your surgery date. my surgery date is 3 days later on august 21. time is flying by too. how are you doing? just think...before long we will be on the other side and be thin and healthy. i cannot wait can you? i do get nervous about the surgery as i have two boys who are dependig on me to be around to finish raising them but if i dont have the surgery i would probably die early in life with diabetes and high blood pressure and stroke. i feel i am doing the best thing for me...do you have children? how old are they? do you mind me asking how old you are? i am 37. if you like maybe we can communicate by email now and then about how things are going for us since we have surgery dates within three days of each other. i will pray for you about you upcoming surgery. andrea.

Hi Brenda, I have 8/18 too!!!!! I am going to Westchester Medical Center in NY with Dr. Cerabona. I wish you good luck and a very quick recovery. Just think by Christmas we can be slim! It seems almost unreal! Good Luck!!! Diana
