August 12

My date is getting closer. I am getting excited. I am a little nervous. Not looking forward to the pain of having the surgery, but I am looking forward to all the changes that are about to take place. This surgery is so important to so many people. God bless the doctors that came up with this. Technology is a wonderful thing. I wish everyone a speedy recovery. Sandra R Lumpkin

Hi Sandra I know exactly what you mean.I am getting nervous too.My surgery is scheduled for the 1st of August.I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.I am sure you will do just fine.

I am feeling the same way. My surgery is scheduled for August 7. We have to keep a positive attitude and visualize how great we wil look and feel next year at this time! I wish you a speedy recovery. Stephanie

Sandra, I'm scheduled for August 12th also and I have turned into a raving idiot. I am so nervous and scard. I'm not sleeping well either. The one good thing about it is that I have basically lost my appetite. Why could'nt I have lost it about 25 years ago before I become MO. ))) Take care. Jane.

Hi Sandra! i know what you mean about being nervous... (my surgery date is the 12 too)i a haven't been sleeping i am too nervous, i am excited i have already packed and unpacked many times...lol....do you or anyone else have a suggestion on what to take to the hospital? i once had a huge suitcase full so i unpacked and then re-packed again..i think i am still taking too much...good luck to you and all of everyone else having surgery!!!!!
