I have a surgery date - I"m excited yet scared

I received word on Wednesday that I was approved for surgery and that I'm tentatively scheduled for Aug 20. I've never had any type of surgery so that is what frightens me the most. I opened a chinese fortune cookied the other day and it said you are in for really big changes but you'll be happy. What an omen eh? Thanks to my family and friends for supporting my decision and good luck and quick recovery on your surgery. Lilly
