new me, new life, second chance!

It has been a year on 8/30/03 I have lost 120 lbs and I wear a size 10/12 I weight 185 and I am 5'9' Although very happily married, I never believed that at 46 I would get the attention I get from men and women. When I lost my weight I lost my frustation and anger with it. I believe everyone should have WLS if they need it and I believe that all of us that have had it done, should spread the word !!!

i agree with you 100% barbara......i am 5'9" also, and i went from a 26/28, now i'm in a size 8, with a loss so far of almost 180lbs...i weighed 319lbs when i had my surgery, and i am down to between 145-150lbs, and my surgery was 1yr, 2months, and 2 days ago......i love the attention that i get now, it's amazing.....jenny
