Hello Everyone, I am seriously considering getting this surgery. I am 22 years old and I wear a size 22. I also have a 2 year old son, and I don't want to be known as " a fat mommy". So if you can please share some of your stories w/ me that would be great. Thanks!

Ebony, This is the BEST thing I ever did for myself. On one hand it was the most "selfish" thing....and on the other, the most "selfless" thing. I have gone from a size 24 (252 at my highest weight, and I am 5'4") to a size 4. The confidence I have regained as a result, has been worth every second. But, I must add that I am one of the lucky ones. I have had very few problems, and have taken VERY good care of myself. Be aware that this is a life changing event, NOTHING will ever be the same. MY Dr has suggested the surgery because of med problems. arthritis chronic back pain etc. I have done all paper work on his end waiting for referall call looking forward to it. I wear 22 and some of them are tight. I have a daughter who is a size 1-3 she once said she wished she could wear my clothes ( because I have so many and she so few) I said I wished too but in her size not mine. as I read these stories it does seem possible!!!!!!!!! and I am so looking forward to it Nola
