OMGosh, I've been working toward this day since January 2014 and it's so close now! 

I'm excited, *****y, nervous and all sorts of other feelings....this pre-op liquid diet is a pain in the arse but I know, in the grand scheme of things, a very neccessary thing to do to jumpstart my healthy lifestyle to come!

Any and all encouragement appreciated!

My RNY surgery was 7/1. I was pretty out of it the entire day of surgery, although they did make me get up and walk. Pain has been very manageable. I struggled with nausea but the doctor gave me Zofran and it worked like a charm. I'm impatient with my recovery but it helps to remember that each day I'm a bit better and I'm a million times better than I was a week ago. You'll do great!
