My revision from RNY to DS is scheduled for July 9, 2013 with Dr. Hilario Juaez. On my fifth day of pre-op diet!
time is moving forward and in two weeks I will fly to lake norman, NC in anticipation of my surgery the 15th. A good day for all of us. the beginning of a new life. I have already learned so much and have improved my eating significantly.
I wish all of us a great experience.

Love your name! if I may ask? why the RNY instead of the sleeve? because of medical problems my doctor would not do the RNY ( risk of ulcers too high in my case), so I did not have to make a decision, it was made for me.

I am getting sleeved July 15 also - but in Texas with Dr. Kim. I am nervous and excited and it seems like it is taking forever!
Congrats on your July 8th date! It sounds like you have had a super long wait. Having an end in sight sure is exciting. Good luck!

I am so ecstatic to be finally having the VSG surgery done after 2 years of trying to get approval from insurance companies! I have never had any type of surgery done, so I am a nervous and anxious! But, my excitment tends to help relive those feelings! Can't wait, 16 more days!

Congratulations! My surgery date is July 1st also. I have lost 25 lbs on the PRE OP diet. :) Good Luck!
