The funny thing is i don't have todo a liquid diet 2 weeks before the surgery..my doctor told me not to lose or gain any weight.Good luck :)
Topic: Lap band set for July 9th
Finally after over 5 years of working on the requirements for this surgery, medicare and Medicaid approved the lapband and my surgery date is set for July 9th. In Little Rock today anhd tomorrow for preop testing and first appt with Dr. Fuller. Sooo excited and scared at the same time. It's gonna be a lot of work. But I'm ready!!

After some delays I finally have a date for surgery; July 18, 2012. Originally I should've gone sometime between last December and March. I've just started on my pre op diet yesterday and yes I'm hungry! I can't imagine how I'll feel after a few days.

My surgery is scheduled for July 9th; the day after I get back from vacation! That should keep me busy and not give me extra time to fret.

We're in countdown mode. Still waiting on final insurance approval. Should know something in a few days. Going to my last np appointment prior to surgery. Didn't know you go on liquid pre-op diet, but that's fine. Just ready to get going at this point. Let me know how you all are progressing and the absolute best of luck.
