2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!

You are stronger than the cookie! I am sitting at 87 lbs lost right now. I hope to have 100 by the end of Jan that would put me 6 months out. My hubby and I are renewing our vows in July next year and I hope to be at goal before then. I have about 45 more lbs to go to be at my personal goal. The chart says 125 but I would be very, very happy to be sitting at 145. That is below what I was even before my husband and I met and I was 17 at that time!
I have not had too much trouble with holiday stuff for now, but we are hosting a big party on the 16th and I shall see where I end up. Luckily, too much sugar makes me not feel good. I have not dumped, I just don't feel right, so I stay away from it for the most part. I feel pretty good about things right now. I hope you make it through the holidays with out too much temptation~

Mine is the 27th! I am hoping to go down another 10 pounds by then. I really want to hit 100 pounds lost! I have been battling the Christmas cookies. So far I have resisted. I thought about getting them out of the house but now it is a battle of will power! I am stronger than a cookie!
Well..here we sit in month 5. Mine will be the 24th but I am down 86 lbs so far. With about 50 more to go give or take. I feel great. I am able to do more stuff for longer and sleep better. I am now showing some bones and everyone I see tells me how great I am looking. Its an odd feeling that is actually hard to get used to for me.
I have not had any 'problems" though I do get stuff stuck now and then when I eat to fast.
Sugar is tricky for me, though I don't stay away from it as a rule, I do stay away from anything in concentrate such as desserts and drinks with the exception of an occasional andies mint. It gives me a quick fix with out feeling too guilty later.
I Feel really good. I can eat just about everything (eggs are still to dry) and have been lucky to have no problems. I think the 76 pounds is because I didn't have to do a pre op diet. I think you are doing great! keep up the hard work!
76 pounds!! That is so awesome! I had my RNY on the 23rd of July. I am currently 57 pounds down and FINALLY broke the 200 pound mark. 199!!
Most days are good for me. I do not get hungry at all, so it's a chore to find something to eat. I can't eat chicken or carrots. Other than that, I can eat anything. I am currently on a salad kick and it I feel great. I still drink protein drinks.
How are you feeling?
Hope you are all doing well!!!
I have had buyers remorse more often, but I now think its because of my brain remembering what it was like to stuff myself with all the goodies. I think of everything I can no longer eat either because its off my list or because I simply cannot tolerate it.
Now I have to fill that 'stuff myself mentality' with activities. Keep busy and just enjoy that I am a different body for the rest of my life.
It was a 'last resort' operation for me and I know that.
