Has anyone had the Plication Surgery? I can't find ANYONE who has.

 I can't find ANYONE who has and I'm thinking about this option.  Please let me know.  Thanks all.

 i think its new,  they are offering it where i go but as a clinical test..... i heard out side the US they do them 

I had Gastric Plication on July 16th with Dr. Ponce in Chattanooga, TN. Today marks 4 weeks post op and I am down 41 pounds including my pre-op diet.

Things have gone okay. I am still recovering. This is not bypass so the weight loss is typically slower but that is okay with me. My restriction is very very good. I am only eating about 800 calories a day. I had a few issues along the way but nothing major.

I keep a VLOG on you tube as well.....that should give you some good information.

 I had mine done Aug 8, 2012, have only lost 8lbs so far. I also had a knee surgery a week later, so there are some swelling . I went to see my doctor today and he said I can go back to eating normal but follow south beach.
