Surgery Date: July 18, 2012

After some delays I finally have a date for surgery;  July 18, 2012.  Originally I should've gone sometime between last December and March.  I've just started on my pre op diet yesterday and yes I'm hungry!  I can't imagine how I'll feel after a few days. 
Looking forward to having some friends to share notes with!

I'm having the RNY as well on July 18th.  Absolutely I would love to chat.  We'll be so close on dates that maybe we can be 'supports' to each other.  Are you nervous/scared?  I have the strangest feelings; mixed nervous/scared and yet anxious and relieved? and optimistic.  I'm really looking forward to getting some of my energy back again and doing things that I haven't done in a long time.  Gardening, walking (not just from the house to the car LOL) crossing my legs LOL LOL

Congrats.  I am having surgery the same date as you.  I am getting the sleeve.  I am so excited!

Congratulations to you as well.  I am getting the RNY.  I'm nervouse, excited all in one.  Are you on your pre surgery diet now?  I am on Optifast and just a handful of green vegetables. 
We'll have to compare notes when we get out of surgery!

No.. I'm not on the pre surgery diet yet.  They just called me today to tell me my date.  Not really sure about the pre-surgery diet.  They actually didn't mention that to me.  I have to go there next week, so maybe they will give me info about that then?  IDK
I am 246 pounds, 5'3 in height hoping to get down to 145.  My bday is in December and I hope I lose a good amount of weight by then.

I'm July 18th as well (RNY)!! Same feelings as you, nervous, scared but very excited to fit back into all the clothes I used to be able to wear! :)
