July 16th date for Rny

I had to push my surgery from today May 14th until July 16th due some issues with the insurance and the hosptial. But I am getting so excited about it again. Today is a little depressing cause I keep thinking that I was going to be having it today.  Well the july date means its a birthday gift instead. I will be having it done 9 days before my birthday on July 24th. I wish everyone the best of luck in the next 2 months

Sounds like an awesome birthday present..perhaps you can call it your 're-birthday'.  Good luck and I can't wait to hear how awesome you are doing in July!

Good luck Cristina, I will be having my surgery on your b-day! So now I will think about you 9 days after your surgery and wishing you a happy b-day when i'm going under the knife. LOL

Thank you both for the support. I wish you two all my support also. I'm getting very excited about my surgery date even though its still a ways away. I am thinking its a re-birth for me. I keep asking my mom a lot of questions since she had the rny done back in march 2003. She has been so supportive. Hope you two have a wonderful weekend

Hi, Christina, I'm actually in a very similar situation. My surgery was delayed a month due to insurance / hospital issues, too. I'm actually having the RNY on 7/16 in San Antonio. I hope that everything goes well for you. I hear that Dr. Steggeman is a great surgeon. One of my friends referred me to him but he had moved to the Corpus area before I made up my mind to have weight loss surgery.
