YAY. Welcome everybody. I find out next Tuesday my date and the wait is killing me. I'll start a new post next week with a list of people and their dates so they are easier to read. July is almost here, YAY.

Hello, I just got my surgery date...July 28th(2 days after I turn 48). I'm excited and anxious. I'm starting to get off caffeine(so hard...miss my morning Starbucks) and trying to find protein shake that I can stand(tried Muscle Milk but cant find the Muscle Milk lite). Its a lot to think about...glad I found this forum. I'm having the Lap Band surgery and have high expectations! I'm looking to lose 90 lbs!

i too switched doctors! so far as long as insurance agrees it is july 25 for me and yeap i can not wait till i have my insides remodeled!!!

Hey everybody... if everything goes right I am set for July 25.
I started getting everything done last Jan. 2010.. but thanks to a doctor not doing is job right! I had to redo 4 months of my diet. then this Jan my surgeron's office told me they submitted everything to the insurance company. well for the last 6 months I have been fighting between the insurance company and the surgerons office. well I decided to use a new surgeron and I meet with him this Saturday at 8!!! all my paperwork is finally at the insurance company and I am suppose to hear from sometime in the next 2 or 3 weeks! They have been great they told me it was ok to change doctors just to have him submit a change form!! I am so happy! I can not wait till tomorrow morning!!!!!

I will be having RNY sometime in July. I was hoping to have it over the July 4th holiday, but the surgeon needs a vacation. It will likely be the week of July 11th now. That's ok.
I've been experimenting with protein shakes as well. The Atkins shakes are good. I pick up my CPAP machine on Friday and meet with the surgeon to get a date then as well.

Hello, My surgery date is July 19th with Dr. Sudan @ Duke. I'm scared and excited.

OK so I went to see the surgeon on Tuesday and I go for my pre-op testing on June 29Th and start my pre-op diet that same day. And it is set in stone and in black and white that I'm getting my new buddy and its name is Sleeve...LOL I was excited today that I thought that I was going to pee my pants... I was to see the surgeon at 3:20 this afternoon and didn't get to see him til about 5:40 he was running so behind. I didn't get out til 6:45 this evening then it was a long hour and a half drive home. I have gained 1.2 pounds since I saw the coordinator. I have been eating everything in sight knowing that I can't eat like I am after surgery. I know that I can do this. I'm just scared of the pre-op diet is all. If i mess it up I will have to reschedule it and I do not want that... So I need all the prayers that I can get so I will get threw the 2 weeks fast... Well I went on long enough... But congrats to the other July surgeries!!!

I am scheduled for the Sleeve in July 5th. I am so excited. I have been jumping through insurance hoops for almost a year to get this surgery. I am ready!

YEYYY HOW EXICITING MY DATE IS JULY 26TH ITS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING IVE BEEN IN THIS PROCESS SINCE JANUARY IM VERY HAPPY AND VERY NERVOUS CONGRATS TO YOU ALL I CANT WAIT IVE ALREADY STARTED THE PROTEIN DIET ..I WILL BE HAVING SURGERY WITH DR.PRATHIBA VERMULAPALLI IN MONTERIORE HOSPITAL IN THE BRONX..................................
