Hi Kiabelle
Only 1 month from today. It is getting so exciting. I have been to a couple of the support groups on Sundays. I didnt go in June but plan on going July 18. I also started going to one that the Franklin Square bariatric group has on the second Tuesday of every month. I really enjoy that one , they have different guest speakers with question and answer sessions as well as samples of what ever products they are talking about. All the people are very friendly and it is very educational.
I too have watched all the videos I could find on line as well as constantly looking for articles to read. Some of this stuff is really interesting even if it doesnt pertain to me.
Tomorrow i have my pre op with primary care and on Tuesday i have chest x-ray, gull bladder sono, and breathing test. Then on the 28th i have my egd and then hopefully i am good to go. I cant wait
Have A Great Day,
Karen

Hi Karen,
For CRS moments, I have everything posted on my calenders at home and at work. I also put all of my appointments in my blackberry. All of my paperwork is in one folder and now all I have to do is keep track of that folder.
I went through the obsessed stage already. I have a countdown ticker on my profile page. I use to log in daily to see that number go down. I also watched all the videos I could find on line about my surgery. That really settled my anxiety. The group meetings also help. Have you gone to any yet? Dr. Vanguri usually shows up and answer any questions you may have. I can't go this month, but I'm going to the one on July 18th. I normally write down tons of questions so that I can be mentally prepared for the changes I'm about to make.
I'm so ready. I wanted him to push up my date but he's out of town for the last 2 weeks of June. The good news is I can enjoy the 4th of July BBQ I was invited to. July 5th I start the pre surgery diet restrictions. I think at that point I'll be ready to freak out again. lol We can try to keep each other sane during the next 30 days.
Take care, enjoy your day.
