Hello Everyone July 14,2010 will be my anniversity dat, i have lost about 102-103 lbs. And Still trying to get my head around being a more natural size, i am 5' 3" tall so i have another 20 lbs to go,unfortunaletl i dont have any pics downloaded on my pc.
I am extremely happy with my results, but i dont have a support group to attend which i know would be a great incentive for me since theres no much coming from my husband. I live in the London Ontario area, so iif anyone knows of support groups in this area please let me know.
Thanks Joanne

yay and congratulations on your successes to date!
as long as you aware of the behaviors you need to change you will be able to change them, just have to redefine your goals and why they are important to reach since you are the only one with those answers. at group they asked us to remember what our breaking point was and why we decided to have the surgery and then to take that reason and use it to push forward :) best of luck to you, I am sure you will get to your goal :)
Could you post your progression pictures? i plan to do so when i go home and take them.
My surgery anniversary was yesterday, i've lost 98 pounds, put my diabetes in remission and lke you can play with my kid without having to take rest breaks or worry about whether or not i'll be able to get off the floor. I fling him in the air and play soccer with him and race him across the playground now. This new part of me is so... FREE i think is the best word. No needles, no sweating with mild extertion, RUNNING! it's just wow... and like you i'd do it again in a heartbeat

I am very happy with my progress, I think I could have done better though, I have been making bad choices with food, not drinking enough water, and I have not been to the gym in over a month... I am trying to kick myself in the butt to get back on track. I still have 40 more pounds until goal and only a little of "honeymoon" time left. In the past 3 months, my losing weight has slowed down to 6-9 pound a month.
I would not change a thing and I would do the surgery every month if I had to! This has been the best thing that ever happened to me! I can sit on the floor and play with my kids, jump on the trampoline with the kids...everything is possible now!
How about everyone else?

Topic: RE: Plateau
Oh geez, i never got the memo that you replied to me, I am so sorry to have left you hanging!
Did you ever break your plateau? how are you progressing now?
I was taught that if you increase your calories 200-300 for 2-3 days then go back to your more restricted diet, this can help bust a plateau.
I'm also an avid exerciser, I go to curves 5 days a week, do wii games like sports, fit or just dance, gotta keep moving and make your surery work for you :)
i really hope this finds you well and happy :) again, sorry i never got back to you...
