This morning i put on a new shirt i bought a TEE SHIRT for the Holidays..A year ago i wore a 2x this one this morning is a MEDIUM and still some room to camp out in it!
I take CVS Spectravite chewables 2x daily. I prefer the regular multivitamin (orange) to the senior formula (berry) but I'll take either.
I use the BA Calcium Chews (lemon or raspberry) and I haven't gotten sick of them yet. I rarely have sweets or even fruit, so it is still a treat to me. I also use Solaray chewable calcium citrate. It's a real orange flavor, but a big tablet. I suck on them usually. I take 2 of them 4x daily.
I use any kind of sublingual B12..any dosage and take 1 daily. Even the lowest dosage ones will give me enough for my weekly minimum.
I take Enyzmatic Vitamin D3. It's a teeny chocolate chewable tablet. Once daily.
I also take 1 chewable iron daily..I don't remember the band on that one though, but I found it on Vitacost.com.
I take a chewable probiotic 3x daily as well. My dietician showed me a study where they said post-bypass patients who used probiotics lost 10% more weight..so I'll take it! My chewables are banana flavored and I love them.

Who is missing? THE OTHER HALF OF ME!!!
July 7 I will be one year out from my RnY..and I have slightly more than 1/2 of my highest recorded weight. I started at 361 pounds when I first got the ball rolling to have this surgery. I was 320 on my surgery date.
Today I got on the scale and was 179.5!
I've lost more than 20 inches in my waist. I was wearing 34W and now I am in a size 12 on bottom. I went from a 54C to a 36C/38B bra size. I went from a 3X men's tshirt to a size small!
The before and afters still amaze me. I threw up some pics here: http://www.plasticsmile.com/b4aft/

Luckily I signed up for a course that starts next week. I'm hoping that getting out and having something to do and somewhere to go will get me away from the food. But I am just a little mad at myself. Why is it so hard to make the right choices?
And I continue to be terrified that I will indeed eat my way back up to 256. What will it take for me to change those habits? Dr. Phil says you have to replace the bad habit with a good one. I think I'll put that in my bowl and mull it around for a while til I come up with a solution - like a new habit I can keep!
It's been a while since I've been on here. June was a busy busy month. I'm tired and need a vacation.
I exercised for a whole hour twice this week. Very proud of myself. My goal was to exercise for an hour a day atlteast 5 days a week by one year out. Honesty I never thought I'd be able to do it.
Like everyone else my food is getting a little more sloppy. I see some old habits creeping back in. I was hoping to never be able to eat sweets again. But I can. However, I ate some cake at my nephews graduation party and got so sick. I was so sick, I missed throwing up. Atleast then you ate something, the pouch rejected it, you threw up, it was terrible, but over! This just lasted and lasted. And you know what. The cake was so good, that I convinced myself that i got sick because it was so hot outside Saturday and ate another 2 bites the next day and got sick again! Ah the things I do for food.
I keep losing and gaining the same 3 lbs. But my clothes keep getting bigger and bigger so I guess i'm losing inches. Which is good.
My stomach is going down so slowly. I will lose 2 inches everywhere else and 1/2 inch at the waist. Very frustrating. But all in all, I am happy with the way I look. I just hope I don't mess it up,
I can't believe we are nearing the one year mark! I'm both scared and excited!
