Topic: I'M FREEZING!!
Okay I know I live in the SUNNY LOS ANGE LES...
But is it me.. or do you get colder than usual? I mean I have to wear extra long, extra thick pajamas to keep me warm, plus HAN-ES socks my feet are freezing all the time!!. I mean I like losing my fat but doggone... IT leaves me trembling like a little weenier dog!! LOL!! Or maybe I would have felt this way anyways if I was skinny in the first place.

lol @ Grace Jones - heck, you could do what Beyonce's sister did, she shaved it all off and looks great, but then again, we're talkin' about the Knowles genes lol.
I'm tired of seeing my stray hairs, here there and everywhere, but it is what it is. It keeps getting thinner and thinner and thinner. I just received my first wig book in the mail yesterday, so I'm thinkin' about ordering a wig or too. If nothing else, it might make it easier to just throw on a wig and voila, my hair will be done. That'll work for me. http://www.beautytrends.com That is the name of the company anyway. Just guessing on the weblink but it's probably right :)
Sometimes I wished I lived in the city so I could pull off a different color and style every day, but too many folks know me where I live (in the country) so I'd have to do a subtle style change only unless I wanted to stay with a "new color" and wearing the same darn wig for 3 months or so.
Decisions, decisions :-)

Isnt' that amazing how those simple little things are such a huge deal for us. I still get amazed each time in set in my brother's kitchen table chairs and just slide right in. Before, it hurt like hell to set in those chairs, in fact, he had two extra, non-sided chairs (for myself and my sister) to set in on Sunday mornings. Plus my brother doesn't have to scootch in his chair anymore when I try to get in behind him to leave (tight space). Feels great, but you're right, it's those little things which are SUCH a big deal :-)

Lisa, yes it is crazy!! They need to walk a mile in our shoes sometime to really "get it". People just think it's a matter of diet and exercise. Well sure, that works in the beginning, but man can not live on willpower alone.. It has to be a lifestyle change, but having this tool, certainly helps us with our goal so that it's not so cumbersome. We feel as though we have a fighting chance by having this tool.
I'm so glad that I did this surgery when I could as well. Maybe I'll get out of that "obese" stage before they decide to jack up my rates even more. Bring on the public health care option.

in the kitchen. Last night my daughter said "Mom, there's a hair in my soup". This morning it was "Mom, there's a hair in my cereal". My hair is everywhere but on my head. It's so depressing!
