I tried a turkey melt. But I only used 1 slice of white bread. Sorry I hate any brown breads. Gross! So I grlled it with 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of american cheese. Had lettuce and cucumber on the side. I was full! I barely eat bread. But was tired of eating the same thing every day. I was making grill chesse for the family and figure how about a turkey melt.

it IS sooo sad! i cut my hair short, but it's still coming out.  i think i noticed some new growth, tho.  it's strange that it's growing and falling out at the same time.  do you drink crystal light fruit punch?  the red powder is STAINING, and my hands were stained the other day.  I almost cried, because i was stuck in a forest of crystal light and hairs.

Oh I've had a little bit here and there.  My doctor said no no no, but I figured just a smidge wouldn't hurt.  THANK GOD I WASN'T DRIVIN! Last night I had a little baby 3 oz cup with wine (and ice) and I sipped about half...I was not just tipsy, I was DRUNK! My friends laughed and laughed.  It didn't last long though.  When I am at an event, I may get a glass of vodka straight with a little lemon juice (did that twice), but again DRUNK! Really, my drink of choice used to be margaritas in a variety of flavors.  I know that is too sweet now, so I don't even think about liquor the same way LOL!

I've always considered that eating steak is a great thing and yes, it still is, but gosh, I've never really considered exactly how much "fat" is actually in a steak.  I mean, I know there is alot, but when you see it written down, it makes you want to take a step back and think, "should I really be eating so much red meat"?

you're welcome - makes sense to me.  I'm really glad that these companies are posting their nutritional facts online these days.  Helps those of us who care about these pesky little details  :-)

I was Type II before surgery, and I've been without meds ever since. I find just a bite of a sweet will tide me over, and the doctor says that's ok as long as my sugars are fine and I stay under 15 grams. I really have a problem with starchy foods though because I could never stop at just a bite or two pre op. I'm still avoiding those.

Thanks for posting this! I see that without the granola it has 19 grams of sugar. (I don't eat the granola). I aim for 15 or less grams, so if I ever eat another I will leave a couple bites in the bottom of the cup.
