I'm a little cold girl too!  But then again, it's been downright chilly here...we even got snow on Friday...in South Texas!

I'll have to post a pic of the girls with their snowman tomorrow.

Oh my goodness!  I am so cold!  I wear layers and layers.  I still find myself afraid to wear undershirts and the like...because it might be too hot.  Them I get to where I'm going and regret my decision!

Honestly, I'm not complaining.  I've always been hot so this is a nice change...you can always put on more clothes!  =)  I just try to make sure I wag around a sweater where ever I go.

Topic: Family Pictures
We took family pictures this weekend!  This was the first time we have had family pictures professionally done in years, maybe decades I'm sad to say.  I know you OH friends understand staying away from the camera!

This was so awesome!   They will be finished in time for Christmas so I can share with all the family.

I understand you..
It is like you read my mine this morning.. I mean I have lost over 100lbs but I still see the women in the mirror weighting 380lbs..  I thought at one point I was going loony but my NUT stated that it's a mine thing it takes time for us to see the loss.. I mean family & friends say lately I been very mean too them .. I don't think I have it's just prior to surgery I would have let you run slap over me and cried in silence instead of telling them that they cannot rule my life.. I think for the most part along with losing the weight.. i felt that at 380lbs I had self confidence but actually i didn't.. because a lot of the decisions I made were because I was not self assured enough to say "that's not right".. now I have gain my self assurance that you can no longer judge me cause of my weight, I make better decisions, and people in my life better get use to the new LISA.. sometimes we loss friends *****ally weren't our friends in the beginning.. I mean the old Lisa use to be scared of change.. that no longer exits.. but on the part of the 1cup 1/2 I read this article on the web.. you are on target for eating, but you are right you don't want to go over a 1 1/2.. i don't think we are capable.. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.. BARF CITY!!! I have attached the link at the TOP..
Peace & LUV!!

Thanks ladies, I have absolutly not let this get me down! I have kicked my butt into gear, yesterday I started the 5 day pouch test, not because I think my pouch is not working but because reading it it said it was a good way to get back to the basics and reestablish THE RULES, and a good way to get past carb cravings, so today is day two and I feel great, also I have worked out everyday since my last post and my husband is buying me a bicycle for christmas and I look forward to riding again for the first time in 15 years. I have lost 5 lbs in 5 days and couldn't be happier about that, bringing my total weightloss to 80 lbs! How could I possibly complain at a time like this! Thanks for all the encouraging words and inspiration that this group always brings! You guys help me to keep it real and realize we are still only human, no matter how much we feel like super heroes in our new lives we are bound to slip on occasion...and thats ok!

GO girlie..
I feel ya .. but it feels good don't it.. I mean come on we deserve every compliment given it is just not the surgery but also we work our A---s off to get that amount of weight off. I went to a Christmas party this weekend in which I helped cater my girlfriends party.. I invited a very close GUY friend of mine of whom I have not seen since we went to training in MIN. when he got out of the car he was looked at me like.. he was going to have a heart-attack... I think he liked me when I was larger but now without the over 120 pounds is a bonus!!! LOL...
I wonder what his face will be like after I lose the last 56lbs.. I MY HAVE TO RESUSCITATE HIM BACK TOO LIFE!! LOL!!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

I think your doing we'll
but i use to beat my self up all the time.. my trainer kind shed a good light on me and informed me that even though you are conducting a life change doesn't mean your life is ending.. it just means we have to re-vamped our decisions food wise.. meaning sometimes we can indulge.. but at a limit.. and still maintain on the right path.. you have to think prior to surgery you would have indulge every day.. now it may be every now any then.. that is a difference!! I think the key work is change (CHANGE TAKES A PERIOD OF TIME TO PROCESS NOT OVERNIGHT!!) Don't beat your self up cause you ate.. something that we all need be in moderations (CAR BS) there's a good article on this site regarding a need of carbs but at a limit.. next time try to take a mile or two walk before you eat a holiday meal..by doing this it puts your body in a free mode of burning so..you will not retain as much calories in a meal.. also you would even have a taste for carbs as much.. you have done an awesome job with the 70lbs lost.. don't let that momentum be loss because you slipped a few days okay girlie..
Peace & LUV!!

We're at about the same place.. with almost the same start time.. diff surgeries though..
I want to hit it SOO badly.. but I think it's going to be Mid January before I do..
I'm working out/training really hard.. and building quite a bit of muscle mass/retaining water.. so weightloss is slow..

You should go ahead and jump on the exercise bandwagon now.. I'm 213.. and run, daily.. do bootcamps... lift weights... squat, lunge... pushups.. You name it..I do it..

But I've really became a fitness addict...
