Hi Ms. Gena!!...

Here's the link above.. Ms. Gena your surgery was close to mine I just got over a plateau the end of the 3 months out into the 4 month.. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY... WHEN THIS ONE IS OVER THE WEIGHT WILL START FALLING OFF LIKE CRAZY!!... It's dropping so fast till it's scaring me!! I just kept eating right,  drinking my water, taking my vitamins, and exercising 3 to 4 times per week.. when the weight started dropping again.. I literally lost over 16 lbs a week for three weeks!! I still think your doing okay.. your body just needs to catch-up!!

it's funny, cuz they're just short little grey strands  :-)  - but grey is better than the ole boring scalp color  :-)

Gena, don't let it get you discouraged.  Just when I was afraid I was slowing down I had a speed up this week and I lost about 5 lbs in a week.  I think the fluctuations are a part of this thing..

Also, I am motivated by how darn good I feel!  I don't ever want to be that exhausted, sad, hiding person again.  I feel so much better about myself now and I have the energy to do what I want to do.  I don't ever want to forget where I came from because I  don't EVER want to go back!

Hang in there!  We really are all different and you are doing just fine.  Keep doing the right things and the weight will keep coming off.  So what if it is slower.  You'd rather be going down that up, right!

Well, I started off much higher than mostly everyone.  I was at 350.  I lost pretty good initially, but in the last month I've slowed down to almost nothing...perhaps a 1/2 lb here or there, but those darn fluctuations kill me.  I try to weigh myself same time everyday, but it's crazy how I can start the day at 269 or 270 and end the day at 275!  It mentally drive me NUTS!  My goal was to be down to 270 by 11/15 and unfortunately I didn't make...  However, I did just get there.  But I must admit, I am getting really sad about the weight loss stop...  Seeing the numbers drop on the scale was definite motivator to not go back to bad habits...but since that's no longer happening...it's getting harder and harder for me to stay on the right track!!

Lisa,  Thank you so much for the link.  That is a great article for me to read right now!  And it's really nice to know that I'm not having these thoughts by myself!  This is fun, eh?

Destiny (or someone)...

Can you please tell me more about the 5Day pouch test.  I haven't lost ANY weight in going on 4 weeks now!  I'm really worried.  If someone could please post or direct me to where I can find it...that would be super!

Thanks fellow July'ers!

I'm always cold now.  I keep a fleece lined hoodie in my car at all times.

One of my favorite new finds is the Flextees I bought from Kohl's.  It's a body shaper t-shirt and I wear them under my clothes every day.  It really helps to suck in my floppy parts--- especially my jelly belly tummy and gives my another layer of clothing.  I love them!

How fun!  I wanna see!

We had never taken family pics before.  I decided to do it before my surgery because God forbid anything happened to me and then we would never have the chance.  My sister's husband died young and that is one of her regrets...that they didn't have a family portrait with their 2 boys.

I look at the pics now and I'm grateful for having them done, but I am sooooooooo ready to take some new ones!
