I'm sick of my chewable vitamins.  I can hardly gag them down at this point and need something new.  I'm using BA calcium chews (yes, the ones that look like a Starburst but, honestly, they are gross to me now).    Is anyone having good luck with liquid or another chewable calcium?

I want to take Citrical Petites but someone mentioned they were not absorbing them.  I'm doing fine with the BA dry Vit D, B-12, and Celebrate grape multi's although most days it's a struggle to chew them.

Tell me about what's working for you.

Hey girlie.. if you check your bariatric Doc's desk there should be a display with  some supplements called BB vitamins.. most offices will  have a test pack.. but anyways I take this citrate supplement that tastes like fruit juice in a liquid packet.. tastes good.. two packets a day give you 1200 grams calcium and 900 grams vitamin D.. they are medium pricey depending on the moth supply you choose can get a package deal.. BUT ITS WORTH it... I luv taking my vitamins now.. just click on link above.. They work all my test results except for my IRON.. because i tried to be cheap and us WALMART brand which do not work for me period.. but the but all other vitamins I take for BB worked good and the test results say so ( vitamin, E, D, A&D, calcium, and B-12, B sublingual)ALSO TRY BARIATRIC CHOICE

have a nice day

Thanks Lisa-- I'll try them.   I've been taking to same ones too long and need some variety!

I take the CVS chewable calcium, they taste like chalky tums, but when i get tired of them i will switch to the CVS brand Calcium chews, they come in caramel and chocolate flavors. They taste like candy. I don't know if they have a CVS where you are, but usually anything you can get there you can get at Rite Aid.

I take CVS Spectravite chewables 2x daily.  I prefer the regular multivitamin (orange) to the senior formula (berry) but I'll take either.

I use the BA Calcium Chews (lemon or raspberry) and I haven't gotten sick of them yet.  I rarely have sweets or even fruit, so it is still a treat to me.  I also use Solaray chewable calcium citrate.  It's a real orange flavor, but a big tablet.  I suck on them usually.  I take 2 of them 4x daily.

I use any kind of sublingual B12..any dosage and take 1 daily.  Even the lowest dosage ones will give me enough for my weekly minimum.

I take Enyzmatic Vitamin D3.  It's a teeny chocolate chewable tablet.  Once daily.

I also take 1 chewable iron daily..I don't remember the band on that one though, but I found it on Vitacost.com.

I take a chewable probiotic 3x daily as well.  My dietician showed me a study where they said post-bypass patients who used probiotics lost 10% more weight..so I'll take it!  My chewables are banana flavored and I love them.
