Okay I have been stalled for like over a month thought i was back on track till I started writing down my calorie protein count  etc.  Like Duh!!! I mean I'm not eating like before surgery but it certainly is not as little the first month after surgery!!!   So for the next couple of week I am food journaling.. I know it is something I should have done long ago. I guess I just took advantage of  the fact I can't/don't eat  the same portion sizes as before surgery  so I didn't think to check my numbers.  Hopefully this rude awakening will get me back on track I need to lose another 30 to be within goal. I would like to hit goal long before my year is up. A friend of mine keeps reinforcing the fact that after a year your  (her) body stabilized and she hasn't lost any since then no matter how hard she tries and she only lost like 75 lbs... I don't want to be stagnate!!!! So back to working on my control issues with food and lack of excerise..  Hopefully this will get me back in gear.

I think if you look at JULY boards everyone in in the same boat losing 3 to 5 lbs then the same pounds come back... I mean I have less than 33 lbs but I titter back and forth.. I think eveyones body is different my girl friend that have surgery weight didn't stabilize till 24 months after surgery... But check your measurements I have dropped two pants sizes one more pant size I will be at my goal of  size13/14 .... inches are still coming off... if  your losing inches then .. your body is not in a stall.. just re-adjusting.. but you are right about the journal.. it helps you stay focus and on track... I know everybody doesn't weight their food or measure but I do.. this helps to keep in mind that I can never go out the boundary's in which I should be eating.. I would have never did this years ago but it helps.. I measure exactly the serving sizes I should eat.. and I keep me full just right when I do this.. I did try what my nutritionist told me to do.. straight protein and up my exercise.. lost 4 lbs this week... but of course its coming close to that time of month(mother nature).. those same pounds will come back I cant lose weight that time of month.. but you are still doing we'll ..check your measurements..

Yes, we are all in the same boat! I think I actually gained 3 lbs this week. My weight fluctuates daily. I am just keeping myself focused on exercise and trying to make the right choices. I'm not perfect that's for sure! ie. The cinnamon roll I ate this morning! But I am going to continue to try my best. You'll get there! Keep up the good work! (((Hugs)))
